Summer fun at MBCDance!

Summer is hopefully going to arrive on time because we are tired of all the rain we had this spring.

Thank you to everyone who helped make my show a success especially Casey, Kristen, Kyle and Brittany; my very precious instructors who are extremely talented and are always there for me! I am so proud of  everyone who performed. I was amazed how everyone danced so beautifully and I can not wait for the DVD! Thank you Mike Iannazzi

 Auditions are Sunday, June 21, 2009 (10.00 audition fee) ages 7-12yrs. at 10:00am 13-15yrs. at 11:00 am

 and 16 and up at 12pm. We practice our routines in the summer and our first competition is in November.

If you commit to the team you must take intensive class which involves technique classes on turns, leaps, jumps, conditioning, flexibility, and ballet. Even if you are not on the team but wish to take these classes anyone is welcome in their age group.

Summer Intensive begins the week of July 6th. The Studio will be closed the week before because we will be in New York for Nationals. A single class is 15.00. Sign up for the 7 weeks and it is the rate of 150.00 and siblings will receive half off. Schedule is on Monday and Wednesday 6:00-7:30  Classes will be split into two groups-

Beginner-Junior and Int./Advanced.

 We have a new Instructor that will be joining us this summer, Jen Foisy Kapadia.

Jen is a long time friend who I watched grow up then she watched my girls grow up! We danced for many years under the direction of Kathy St. Jean

She will be teaching one of the Int/Adv. Intensive classes and our Senior Lyrical team this summer. She will be working with some soloists as well. Jen will have a class for adults in jazz and hip hop. These classes are walk-in for 8.00

I am so excited to have her on board!

This summer we will have Dance Camp for two age groups(5-8yrs. & 9-12yrs)

Sessions: July 6-10 and July 13-17

                  August 3-7 and August 10-14

Each session is Monday-Friday 9:00am-12-00pm

Your child will have fun with a wake-up and warm-up following fun dancing such as hip hop and musical theatre.

Then they will do a Dance related arts and craft project, finished with a snack and drink.

Miss Brittany will teach 5-8yrs Mon-Fri.

Ms. Maria will teach 9-12yrs. Mon &Tues.

Miss Casey will teach 9-12yrs. Wed. -Fri.

Prices for the week are 75.00 Any sibling will get half off (Sign up for all 4 sessions and receive one week free! Must be paid in full by session 1)
